New releases, reissues, and under-the-radar gems landing this spring
March has delivered some serious vinyl announcements – and we’re already clearing space on the shelves. From long-anticipated new albums to rare reissues and underground compilations, these records are now available to pre-order, with release dates coming later this spring and beyond.
Whether you’re a crate-digger, a collector, or just someone looking to keep your vinyl rotation fresh, here are six standout pre-orders we’re particularly excited about.
WITCH – Sogolo
Releasing 3 May 2025
Zambia’s legendary Zamrock pioneers are back – and Sogolo is the sound of a band embracing their legacy while carving out something entirely new. It’s their first album of all-original material since reforming, and their first ever international release of new music.
Sogolo pulses with psychedelic energy, political fire, and gritty, fuzzed-out guitars. But it’s also full of groove – blending traditional Zamrock elements with funk, afrobeat, and modern production. The result is an album that feels vital, relevant, and genuinely exciting. Whether you’re new to WITCH or a long-time fan, this is one you’ll want to spin loud.
Rival Consoles – Landscape from Memory
Releasing 19 April 2025
Ryan Lee West returns with another cinematic journey through sound. Landscape from Memory builds on the immersive soundscapes Rival Consoles is known for – balancing ambient serenity with rhythmic tension and rich analogue textures.
It’s a record about connection, memory, and transformation – perfect for those late-night headphone sessions or early morning introspection. Think moody synths, carefully layered atmospheres, and the kind of emotional depth that sets Rival Consoles apart from the crowd.
Fans of Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, or Jon Hopkins – this one’s for you.

Gruff Rhys – American Interior (2025 Remastered Bonus Edition)
Releasing 26 April 2025
Former Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys reintroduces one of his most ambitious solo projects with this lovingly remastered and expanded edition of American Interior.
Part concept album, part historical epic, the album retraces the steps of Welsh explorer John Evans as he set out across 18th-century America in search of a lost tribe. The result? A surreal, genre-bending record filled with melodic twists, storytelling flourishes, and Gruff’s trademark charm.
This new edition features remastered audio, bonus tracks, and updated artwork – a must-have for SFA loyalists and curious new listeners alike.
The Bug Club – Very Human Features
Releasing 12 April 2025
If you like your indie a little messy, a little clever, and a lot of fun – The Bug Club’s new record Very Human Features should be on your radar.
Their scrappy sound blends jangly guitars with deadpan humour, surreal storytelling, and enough energy to blow the roof off a tiny venue. This is the band’s biggest, boldest release yet – packed with tightly wound riffs, lo-fi charm, and earworm hooks that’ll get stuck in your head for weeks.
If you’re into The Lovely Eggs, Wet Leg, or early Pavement, this is right up your alley.

Authentique Vol. 2 – Feu Vert 81–82
Releasing 12 April 2025
Here’s one for the deep diggers. This French compilation shines a light on Marseille’s underground post-punk and minimal synth scene in the early ’80s – a raw and rarely explored corner of European DIY music history.
Expect icy drum machines, angular guitars, and lo-fi production with real edge. Feu Vert 81–82 captures the restless creativity and political urgency of the time – think Joy Division by way of the Mediterranean.
For fans of Cold Wave, minimal wave, or BÉRURIER NOIR-era French punk, this is an absolute gem.
Barry Can’t Swim – LONER
Releasing 12 April 2025
One of the UK’s most exciting new voices steps into the spotlight with this powerful debut full-length. LONER is dark, dreamy, and emotionally unfiltered – stitching together heavy basslines, warped R&B, and lo-fi textures with raw, confessional lyricism.
Barry Can’t Swim has been quietly building buzz with a string of DIY releases, and LONER feels like a breakout moment. It’s a record about isolation, identity, and finding clarity through chaos – equal parts vulnerability and swagger.
For fans of King Krule, early James Blake, or anyone who likes their records a little rough around the edges and full of heart.
