We’re doing it again. A Happening returns – back with another deep dive into sound, light, and all things unclassifiable.

Step inside and settle into a space where the lines blur between music, art, and atmosphere. This is Happening 2.0 – a unique evening at 12 Bar for the curious, the open-minded, and anyone ready to be transported.

Temple of Shibboleth: Live Light Show

Temple of Shibboleth band members Roz and Viv have gone luminous and shadow shifted to become Projector Jockeys (PJs).

Improvising with inks, oils, colours and mirrors to create a never-ending kitchen sink objet d'art: be taken on a one-off analogue wonder trip - all the colours of the other world. This isn’t background visuals – it’s a luminous, fluid performance in its own right.

30 Circles 

30 Circles encompasses the repertoire of ambient soundscapes performed and produced by Dave Colebourn, a professional saxophonist based in Bristol, UK. Though any sound you hear from 30 Circles has a woodwind instrument behind it, the music is drawn from a wide variety of influences, perhaps best described as a chilling fusion of jazz, film scores and electronica.

‘I deal in vibrations.’

A classically trained cellist turned sonic seeker, Ben’s music bridges experimental cello, sound design, punk philosophy and sound healing. Expect raw textures, deep resonance, and meditative presence – a performance that sits somewhere between a gig and a grounding ritual.
