King Pari, an LA-via-Minneapolis duo, brings a unique blend of bedroom funk that channels the sounds of Prince and psychedelic dub into infectious, lo-fi songs full of emotion and groovy vibes.
- Background: King Pari's sound is heavily influenced by Prince, and the duo—Joe and Cameron—cut their teeth in the Minneapolis music scene, performing with some of Prince’s closest collaborators.
- Notable Connections: Their early music gained attention from Prince himself, and their debut gig was opening for jazz great Kamasi Washington. Joe’s previous band even received a personal invitation from Prince to perform at Paisley Park.
