ollowing a six-year hiatus, Great Grandpa re-emerges with Patience, Moonbeam, a deeply introspective and sonically rich album that almost didn’t happen. After taking a break from music, the band reunited with a renewed creative spark, scrapping old ideas and starting fresh to craft their most ambitious and personal record to date.

Where 2019’s Four of Arrows was shaped in the studio under outside production, Patience, Moonbeam was developed through a slow and collaborative demoing process, allowing the band to explore new ideas and fully realise their signature sound. With an open-door approach to writing and recording, the album swings between heavy and tender, playful and profound, delivering a heartfelt reflection on life’s highs and lows.

Blending textured indie rock, folk-infused melodies, and introspective lyricism, Patience, Moonbeam is a triumphant return for Great Grandpa, demonstrating the power of collaborative artistry and deep-rooted musical bonds.
