Celebrating 50 years since the release of Haruomi Hosono’s iconic solo debut, Hosono House, this compilation brings together reworks from artists on the Stones Throw roster and beyond, each offering their unique interpretations of Hosono’s classic tracks.
- Haruomi Hosono is a legendary artist known for Hosono House and his influential role in Yellow Magic Orchestra.
- Hosono House retains its fresh sound even after five decades, resonating worldwide. Its cultural reach expanded recently when Harry’s House by Harry Styles, inspired by Hosono's album, won a GRAMMY Award.
- Featured artists include Sam Gendel, John Carroll Kirby (featuring The Mizuhara Sisters, Kiko & Yuka), Pearl & The Oysters, Jerry Paper, Cornelius, Akiko Yano, and others.
