More than 50 years after defining Zamrock, WITCH (We Intend To Cause Havoc) prove their creative fire is still burning with SOGOLO. Named after the Zambian word for “future”, the album is a vibrant fusion of psychedelic rock, funk, and Afrobeat, recorded in Berlin during the band’s electrifying world tour.

The remarkable story of WITCH is almost too extraordinary to believe. Hailed as the "Zambian Beatles", they led the Zamrock movement in the 1970s and early '80s before the AIDS epidemic tragically ended the era, leaving frontman Emmanuel ‘Jagari’ Chanda as the sole surviving original member.

Their 2012 reissue sparked a global rediscovery, leading to sold-out world tours, an award-winning documentary, and the acclaimed 2023 album Zango. Now, with SOGOLO, WITCH continue their legacy, blending their signature sound with new sonic explorations.
