TANGK IDLES

Idles' fifth album, Tangk, marks a bold departure from their early raw punk roots, embracing a more nuanced and expansive sound. Starting with an arpeggiating piano and ending with a subtle sax solo, Tangk explores new musical territories while retaining the band's core intensity. The album features collaborations with LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and Nancy Whang on the infectious track "Dancer," highlighting the pleasure of bodies moving in sync.

The slow-burning "Grace" channels the pensive synth reverberations reminiscent of LCD's "Someone Great," showcasing the band's evolving sonic palette.
