Description
Producer, DJ, pianist, and activist LP Giobbi presents Dotr, her highly anticipated sophomore album, released on Ninja Tune's Counter Records.
A significant evolution for LP Giobbi, the album features collaborations with some of today’s biggest names, including Portugal. The Man, Brittany Howard (on a reimagined version of Alabama Shakes’ “Don’t Wanna Fight”), Jacob Banks, Danielle Ponder, Panama, and Mascolo. Dotr is a celebration of collaboration, improvisation, and the power of friendship, paying homage to the people and music that shaped her artistry.
Fans of Sofi Tukker, TSHA, Aluna, The Blessed Madonna, Gorgon City, DJ Tennis, Jayda G, and Barry Can’t Swim will find much to love in this release.
LP Giobbi’s influence spans beyond her music. She recently remixed Calvin Harris’s “Lovers In A Past Life” and was handpicked by Taylor Swift to remix “Cruel Summer.” Known for her electrifying live sets, LP has performed at Coachella, EDC, Firefly, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and ACL.
As the founder of FEMME HOUSE, a non-profit organization with over 25,000 members, LP Giobbi is dedicated to creating equitable opportunities for women and marginalized gender expressions in music production.
She will be touring the UK and EU throughout 2024 and into 2025.
