The Cure is set to release Songs of a Lost World, their first studio album in 16 years—an epic moment for music fans and one of the most influential indie bands of all time. Written and arranged by Robert Smith, the album is produced and mixed by Smith alongside Paul Corkett and performed by The Cure. Recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales, this long-awaited release marks a new chapter in the band’s iconic journey.
The album’s sleeve concept was created by Smith, with album art and design by long-time collaborator Andy Vella. The cover features Bagatelle, a 1975 sculpture by Janez Pirnat, capturing the haunting and timeless essence of The Cure’s music.
