Sung Tongs: 20th Anniversary Edition Animal Collective

Animal Collective's Sung Tongs, originally released in 2004, celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special double LP edition featuring one Canary Yellow disc and one Ruby Red disc, housed in a gatefold jacket.

This album marked the beginning of an iconic five-year stretch for the band, followed by the release of their acclaimed records Feels (2005), Strawberry Jam (2007), and Merriweather Post Pavilion (2009). Upon its release, Rolling Stonehailed it as “one of the more creative and accomplished records you'll hear this year,” while Pitchfork later named it one of the best albums of the 2000s, calling it “impossibly giddy, emotionally thrilling, and sublimely weird.”
