Description

The eighth studio album from British post-punk legends Echo & The Bunnymen, What Are You Going To Do With Your Life? arrived in 1999 as a lush, cinematic reflection on love, regret, and meaning. The record features orchestral arrangements by the London Metropolitan Orchestra and a curveball collaboration with Fun Loving Criminals on two tracks. With singles including the melancholic title track and the atmospheric fan favourite ‘Rust’—their final UK Top 40 hit—this era-defining release captured the band’s evolving sound while staying rooted in their signature mood and melody. Reissued following the sell-out 2024 edition, this 2025 pressing is available exclusively on turquoise vinyl.

For fans of: The Cure, The Chameleons, Psychedelic Furs, Peter Murphy, and the darker edge of Britpop.
