Nearly 20 years since their formation, few bands have built a legacy as innovative and consistently critically acclaimed as The Horrors. Emerging as garage-goth disruptors on their 2007 debut Strange House, they quickly shifted gears with their Mercury-nominated follow-up Primary Colours, embracing a shoegaze-infused sound. The band has never shied away from experimentation, with 2011’s Skying winning NME's Best Album and 2017’s V receiving a five-star Guardian review as "a triumph."
In 2021, Lout and Against The Blade ushered in a visceral new chapter, showcasing The Horrors at their most industrial and intense. Yet despite their evolving sound, the band's unwavering commitment to their craft remains constant. As they release their sixth album, Night Life, with a new lineup and sonic direction, The Horrors continue to push boundaries while staying true to their fierce, uncompromising ethos.
